Gentlemen, I need some help please.
Larry Kannard-- less than perfect carport installation.
Need repairs. For sure one metal sheet on center roof peak.
They missed with a truss screw and it's leaking on his car and he does not want to just silicone it.
He's willing to live with everything else that is wrong, but would like for them to put more screws in all the metal sheets on the top and replace the top center piece where they missed the truss. There are only three screws on each truss on top, but they put several in the side metal sheets so he's confused as to why. That doesn't seem right.
The one where they missed the truss is flapping in the wind.
They pulled the bottom right hand side in and it's at a terrible angle also the trim is all wavy.
They put two short sections of trim on one side and 4 on the other in the rounded portion on the front.
Doesn't match up at all.
Just not a very nice looking job all the way around. They also put the tin over the mobile home anchors and it's bulging. They should have put the metal on first, then attached them in my opinion.
Like I said, he said he will live with everything else (which I think he's being fairly generous for how it looks) but he didn't pay for a new carport to have a leak on his wife's car, and he doesn't want a temporary fix like silicone, he wants new metal. (All his words)
I would appreciate any help you guys can give in helping me make this right with him and getting him fixed as soon as possible. To top all of that off, the contractor was in his garage to plug and unplug electricity and he can't swear to them taking it, but his weed eater was there when they plugged the chord in and gone the next morning.
Here are pictures, please advise what and when we can do to get him fixed up.
Thanks a bunch,
Mark
